Storehouse Foodbank

The Storehouse Foodbank is an initiative reaching out in a very practical way to people with needs in our local community.  As Christians we don’t want to just speak about Jesus’ love, but we also seek to demonstrate it by our actions.
Members & friends of the Church donate non-perishable food items and toiletries which are then packed and distributed to those in need. The Storehouse works through various Statutory and Voluntary Organisations as well as through direct personal contact.  During 2019 we distributed almost 300 food hampers in our community as well as hygiene boxes and Christmas Gifts.  We are very grateful to all those people, organisations and local businesses who donated food items and who gave donations over the past year.  Without your contribution – we couldn’t serve our community in this way.
Storehouse also seeks to provide assistance to those in need by sign-posting them to other available services and resources within the community.

If you, or someone you know would benefit from a food hamper, please let us know by contacting the church office.

Ann Suttle is responsible for our Storehouse Foodbank.  If you want further information on the work of Storehouse, or if you would like to contribute items to our Foodbank, Ann can be contacted on 07835 497593
